Ed O'Brien (guitar) is a founder member of the group, along with Thom Yorke (vocals), Colin Greenwood (bass), Colin's brother Jonny (guitar/ keyboards) and Phil Selway (drums) -- all public school boys.

Ed o' Brien, I used to work with him when he was a bar-man at Sweeny Todds Pizza Parlour in George Street, Oxford in the late eighties and he used to schive off on Fridays...to practise with his band the then " On A Friday". Nice Hair Bear afro he had if i rememebr correctly.
