I rememebr it - but only because I just hated it so much - as I hate all 'sensitive' songs. The women always sound wistful and lost, and the men always allow that little croak in their voices to show how emotional they arer ... and it cuts no ice with me at all, and I loathe it!

Sorry - rant over - but yes, i do remember the record, and the bespectacled waif who warbled it as well.

It was from the soundtrack to the film "Reality Bites" and was from I think 1993 or 4.

yeah I listen to it on Reality Bites every now and then - great song. Usually I agree about the warbling and catch in the voice of the usual 'sensitive song' brigade but I disagree that it's the case with this one. Got something which so many songs these days just don't (just ask my neighbours) being 'melody'. Can't stand all this directionless tonal (or usually a-tonal) wandering of the current so-called R&B. Reminder to music industry - the R stands for Rhythm!
