lyrics changing?
Is it just me or are modern song lyrics getting more and more 'adult' or is it jsut that now I'm older I'm realising their true meanings? This doesn't really apply to old songs as they were all innocent and gay . . . in the old sense of the word.

It just strikes me as worrying that young kids idolise these people and strive to emulate their image and attitude. I am not a parent yet, but I wouldnt like it if my young daughter copied a "suggestive" dance routine as seen in a pop video
jd and boo, I think it's wierd when small children do that aswell . . . I saw a 5-7 year old singing a contemporary song - she obviously didn't know the real meanings of the lyrics and this old lady came along and had a go at her mum about letting her sing such stuff. That's kinda what made me create this thread.
