Because Immigrants are more succeessfull. Isn't it time we stop winging and try to be more like them? This is a great country built by our ancestors and we are letting them put us to shame while we just winge.

Some britiah natives dislike immigrants for various different reasons, but mainly because we are already overpopulated, with too many on welfare rather than contributing, and the last thing any sane person wants is more folk arriving and making the population and associated issues more acute.
honeydip -if you are going to create a fantasy world at least do a bit of research - you say you left UK because you could'nt afford to send your kids to private school in UK-you say your kids are at an International school in France -these are all private in France you will be paying fees. What you have said about French education and what your children are bing taught is incorrect -they will be in Ecole Maternelle and will no be being taught in English, French and Portugeuse. There are no chip shops in France -especially where you live!! and finally - there are lots of problems with immigration in France -the vast majority of French people are very frustrated at the mass immigration from Tunisia and Morrocco and the subsequent ghettos in the larger cities and related unemployment, gangs and crime. I'm sorry that the idyllic Utopia you seem to have created for yourself in France exists only in your mind, and suggest you go live in the high rise slums north of Paris or the kabyle slums in Marseille -you will be running back to blighty quicker than you can say 'je suis un branleur'
