Why do the news programmes presenters have to travel to the country where the main news stories are happening? Two days running now channel five have presented the news at five from Brussels. Nothing is happening there so why do they need to be there?

Most big news networks have a foreign correspondent in and around certain areas for when something happens.

Channel five have a guy who hops around the EU, but this is the woman who normally sits in the studio! Why she has to be there I don't know.
