Theresa May pretty much promised that action on Grenfell would be part of her legacy. Fact is it really won't be.
Two years on only 15% of the Grenfell money has gone to where it is needed.
Two years on people are STILL living in hotels and temporary accommodation.
Two years on still 200 tower blocks have the exact same problems that Grenfell did which caused the destruction, loss of life and horror that we saw.
She even has continued austerity in the fire service.

Will the next Gov make right?

//No One Cares About Grenfell //

that's a bit of a sweeping statement isn't it? do you include those ho are voiciferous about this on a daily basis, like the local Labour MP?

or did you mean to qualify the scope of the phrase "no-one" but then forgot?

I more mean, the media, the general populous. It's a bit like the saudi and yemin situation.. Or even the Sudan massacre... People literally do not care lol.

Look how much attention this thread got.

It's ironic though, if crap like all that went down here people would be crying and begging for help or peace.

Thank you for your answer Mushroom.

These issues were discussed very recently. Perhaps those who have something to say have said it.
How dare you tell the general population they don't care, and end it with a pathetic 'Lol'.

Think before you type.

Nah i think people just get bored easily about problems that don't directly affect them.
Rubbish. Plenty of people care. It's just that authorities have not acted as they should have done and not acted as they promised.

"It's just that authorities have not acted as they should have done and not acted as they promised."

Because they don't care, and if people did care, they would make a noise about it, which would get listened to.
Spath, since the night Grenfell happened people haven't stopped making a noise about it.
Spath, I've been at SHP's combined safety event at Excel this week, including "Firex", https://www.firex.co.uk/ and I can assure you that both at Firex and at the main umbrella expo, all the seminars I attended demonstrate that this matter is getting some very serious consideration indeed.
Is this your attempt at 'noise' or have you done something more meaningful?
Question Author
"Is this your attempt at 'noise' or have you done something more meaningful?"

I'm currently wearing a green T shirt.

All noise starts from a social platform. Where people congregate their frustrations and make plans from that.

Mushroom.. it's a shame because as you see from the stats in my OP, sprinkler systems across London still need renovating, cladding on up to 200 buildings still needs changing. That's just the health and safety aspects from what's happened.. Not the 'we need to help those affected' aspect.

Also fire department austerity is asking for it.
//I'm currently wearing a green T shirt. //

That'll sort it.
I think I'll go and 'congregate my frustrations' - back in an hour or so...

Trying to dismiss the fact that not enough is being done is just as bad as not caring.

Not enough has been done.
I care about the dogs and cats who were burnt to death.

There wouldn't, of course, have been many dogs, fortunately.

Ok if you say so!
There's an inquiry going on as you whinge, spath.
And they've been so keen to hand money out to claimants that £2m has been given to about 30 fraudsters.

"And they've been so keen to hand money out to claimants that £2m has been given to about 30 fraudsters."

Who ever allowed that to happen is clearly either a simpleton or a total mug or was involved with the fraud.
Maybe if so many people hadnt made erroneous claims or been living there illegally they might have got it sorted out quicker.
