Your country needs you. Or anyone as charismatic as Mr Farage.
If any Party is ever going to end this two pantomime horse farce, they'll never have a better chance. Will they?
Would anyone vote Tory? And the opposition front bench, blimey, talk about a cabinet of all the talents.
Not saying it will happen but if someone were to go for it.

I'm not sure Nigel is the answer but more as you say someone who is as charismatic and believing in the people as Mr Farage. The two party system has to end. What we have now really is a one party system, the "Tory's" have shifted so far left they have met labour. And lets face it Labour no longer really represent what many working people want. It's a total shambles.

Lol, the despair and looking for someone else to blame continues unabated.
As for making a comparison to the opposition front bench, they don’t even need to get out of second gear atm, the Keystone Cops are providing all the entertainment.
I think he'd be more likely to attract votes now that Conservative voters have no one to vote for. The only reason he wasn't more successful in the past is because in a General Election people opt for what they think is a 'safe' vote - hence the reason we have only two political parties who are ever likely to govern. That didn't mean people disagreed with Nigel - just that they couldn't be sure that the like-minded would put their 'x' against his name.

And that he was a chancer and a one-trick pony?

I think you're right, Naomi. The mantra was vote Tory or get Corbyn.

Dr, people have been voting tribally for a long time. Look where it's got us.
I don’t think we need a charismatic PM. Just a sensible one.
You may well be surprised to learn that Reform UK( the re-focused UKIP) intend to field hundreds of candidates in "selected" constituencies at the next GE. They have quietly, stealthily even, gone about the business of selecting candidates and securing funds since early 2021 and are ready to accommodate the disgruntled electorate when the time comes, even if that is sooner rather than later. They will split the vote and be in position to help form a coalition Government on their terms. "Their" terms being the terms of the majority Brexit voter.

They only have 300 candidates at the moment Togo.
Is that all? (^_*)
// anyone as charismatic as Mr Farage. //

So charismatic that he lost SEVEN contests to be elected as an MP. Starting at Eastleigh were he got 1.7% of the vote.
Your desperation is embarrassing.
All very well wanting to end the two party system, the problem is, though, add a third party and all you get are hung parliaments, and we all know how well they achieve what's needed.
I think Sir Nigel would be highly amused that anyone might think he would be remotely interested in taking part in the current bun fight (not currant!).
//Your desperation is embarrassing.//

As usual you cherry picked 'facts' and didnt read the posts.

Gromit, you appear to hate the country, why do you stay?
right-wingers are entitled to feel that they can vote for somebody who represents their ideas without having the vote wasted... and so are lefties!

tribal voting and the two-party system are the inevitable result of First Past the Post... time to get rid and let everyone vote for what they actually believe in.
Togo, to stand any chance of making any sort of impact they need more candidates. They are looking but it may be too late now.

Look at how many the Liberals put forward to how many seats they got. Yes, they could target seats but its all unknowns really.
nigel farage is a skilful debater and is very popular among the tory right... if the party is going to split then he's the best candidate to lead that wing of it
//time to get rid and let everyone vote for what they actually believe in.//

Proportional Representation is part of the Reform UK manifest as announced at their underreported, recent, conference .

Why would I be desperate, gromit?
I agree with YBM. Wouldn't mind so much but both parties seem to have adopted the worst traits from each other.
All Reform UK need to do is to persuade Boris to "join" them. It would be a landslide. His hero, Winston, was not afraid to switch parties when the conditions demanded it. :))
