Is this indicative of a man who has never been able to ask a lucid question for himself, so he feels more comfortable taking a straw poll of his client base? Did you not think that Dave handled it all with aplomb?

I think one factor will be that Corbyn knows Cameron is far less likely to 'rubbish' a question from nurse/teacher/careworker, shopworker etc than when it comes from Corbyn or his party. For example, one question today was from someone who had asked why the mental healths ervice is on its knees. If Corbyn had come up with the question himself Cameron would have said it was not on its knees and then made a case for how things are improving. But becaus eit came from a member of teh public Cameron doesn't want to be seen as saying ordinary voters are talking nonsense.

I think it was reasonably effective for his first PMQ but if he
tries to use similar tactics in future it will show he hasn't a
mind of his own.
If we have a weekly 'Roger in London asks' it will farcical.

Possibly fictfact, but Dave did answer all the 'questions' with ease and perfectly considered points. It is early days yet. I am sure we can expect more incendiary exchanges.

Perhaps we can get rid of the weekly theatre of the pm and opposition leader trying to score points off each other .

To be fair to the man he is trying to be inclusive and show himself as a man of the people.

After the many previous gaffs it does seem a good plan from him.

As pointed out, long term it wont really work.

For it to work, Corbyn will need to follow up Cameron's replies and challenge his answers. Otherwise the event is pointless- there is no need for the Labour leader to be involved and Cameron gets an easy ride.

I agree with ymb -- still, we'll see how it pans out in future. But if he does keep it up then it's hard to see him as a leader -- which will be key. Perhaps in future he should mix it up a bit, of his six questions ask three from the public and three of his own?

All it did was to give Cameron the chance to say what the Tories had done on each topic.

It just gave Cameron an unchallenged platform.

He had no further question to Daves replies because they were not his questions in the first place. Obviously not a debater, just used to rabble rousing from outside the main tent.

I understand Corbyn doesn't like wearing a tie, and that's fine; but if he does choose to wear one, he should do his shirt and tie up properly, not sit there like a sulky teenage schoolboy trying to make a pathetic rebellious point.

I did not think it worked - it was Jeremy Vine than Jeremy Corbyn - worse still it made Cameron look good
