Why are the True Blues so persistently relentless with their mocking and smearing of Jeremy Corbyn ?

Even with over four years to go before the next Election, can it be that they believe that the present Government's appalling record needs this constant smokescreen.

You can fool some of the public some of the time but you cannot fool all of the public all of the time.
Canary
You could equally ask why Jezza persistently offers himself up as an Aunt Sally.
If he appears a naive idealist with his head in the clouds then the opposition are bound to capitalise on his weakness and demonstrate the alternative to the electorate. An opportunity to score points if you will.

"JC, the gift that just keeps on giving!"
Retro, his head just isn't in the clouds, its on a completely different planet.

Dave.
To paraphrase George Mallory "Because he is there"
What 'appalling record'?
Financially appalling for a start, if after over 5 years of Conservative 'austerity' you are still able to add up:

Canary42, think of rote learning (indoctrination of the memory) by constant repetition, and their ploy is obvious.
Not my idea of a leader of a country
As retro says, when you're constantly gonna set yourself up as the stooge, the rest are not going to tire of kicking you in the pants.
He reminds me very much of George McFly but thoroughly depleted of the moral fibre with which to deliver the bloody nose to Biff.
there's also the small matter of immigration, which has reached new heights under the present government. As an economc migrant myself I'm not much bothered - but in terms of the Tories' own stated policies it's a major failure.

But hey, did you see what Jezza's done now...
Here is further rejecting of their 'appalling' agenda by another 'canary' -

"Nine humiliating Tory defeats you might have missed this week"

They constantly mock him because they are scared of him.
If he was of no consequence they could safely ignore him.
That post was very much TIC, right EDDIE?

Odd bunch believe me.
"Odd bunch believe me. " oddly, that is precisely the unsubstantiated assertions 'the Canary' tries to debunk.
//Each contributor / editor is paid based on the percentage of web traffic their articles generate during a given calendar month. It’s as simple as that.//

Ergo the more contentious and outrageous the ramblings......the more 'web traffic' =more dosh for the scribler.

Our Editor-in-Chief, Kerry-anne Mendoza says:

“My audience at Scriptonite Daily have been amazing – they even funded me to report from Gaza in 2014 – and I want to be able to bring them more content that speaks to their hunger for better and more truthful reporting.”
Truthful reporting. From Gaza?
sevenOP, you do present some tripe - really you do.
naomi24> "sevenOP, you do present some tripe - really you do"

Ah, the person that does not do ad hominems.

Please elaborate the specific 'tripe' you allude to, or is this yet ANother unsubstantiated assertion we must duly accept ?
"Ergo the more contentious and outrageous the ramblings......the more 'web traffic' =more dosh for the scribler."

A non sequitur many attribute to the Sun, Daily Mail, etc.
