I guess you want people to sign, but you don't actually say that.

I won't sign anything from 'change.org' as I have no wish to receive unsolicited junk emails for months to come.

Sorry to disappoint you but I am totally indifferent as to whether you sign or not.

That'll be ok then, at least we share one opinion.
I don't know what good a petition will do. Perhaps we should boycott B&Q until they reinstate their workers' previous salaries.
It seems harsh in the extreme to pin this on Cameron. No doubt employers will twist laws whichever way they can to suit them best. Case in point: before the national living wage was introduced, wages for the lowest-paid were so low that the government had to subsidise these low wages, eg by Working Tax Credits. Now the burden is shifting to the employers and while, yes, that's going to lead to a mess, it doesn't invalidate the concept of lifting wages high enough that people can actually live on them.

This is a problem for B&Q.
It was predicted that businesses would seek to make changes to offset a higher wage bill, and of course they are doing just that.

Shoddy practice.
