how can they get away with this stuff, its all a load of nonsense, of course you can't ban them, they are part and parcel of the Labour party.

‘It seems that in La La Labour land everyone is equal but some are more equal than others.’

^^^ Seems to sum it up nicely imo.
We will not be getting a first hand report, by one of our ABers, from the "meeting" then I suppose...................Unless you know differently. :))
do you mean Mikey, he's unlikely to attend, or perhaps even respond..

Does he meet any of the qualifying conditions?
white straight blokes are an abomination unto the lord - Alleluia!.
"Alleluia"

Being politically correct TTT?
I was going to agree with the general thrust of the answers here...but then I read the story to the end. And now I understand why the organisers put this clause in.

It makes sense in a way, but equally - it didn’t really need to be included.
Labour equalities conference will exclude a certain group... yep, that makes sense.
"At the conference, equalities caucuses would elect the positions of women’s, BAME, disabled and LGBT representatives.

Young Labour now fills its committee positions via online voting, but the equalities representatives cannot be voted for in this way because Labour does not have the relevant data on members’ identity.

A conference therefore has to be held. Labour said that, given that the main purpose of the conference is to hold these elections, there would be no benefit to someone attending who could not vote in any of those elections"

Rather changes the argument I think?
Dave, just because they can't vote is not a valid reason for excluding them from the meeting.
^Oh what a tangled web we weave.
I still think they're naive in doing it (did no-one even think what the hyenas of the PressWehrmacht would make of it?) - but it does explain the reasoning.
Obviously to SD.
