allow only 50% maximum private stake in any given oil extraction operation, with the rest going to a state owned enterprise. tax the revenue of those companies which take the 50% stake to the hilt.

use the money to establish a sovereign wealth fund.

may make you swallow some vomit, can you hand on heart say MT caused more more harm than good?

Ignoring the cost of living crisis, which to a large degree was brought about by the wrong decision by the Tories to lockdown and pay people
to sit on their backsides (plus latterly Ukraine), we mostly have a good standard of living.

This was is down to MT and, credit where it’s due, Blair (who was a Thatcherite and more right wing than the current Govt), but MT laid the foundations.

To deny this is entirely churlish.
