Will Reform Uk See A Surge In Support?
The Conservatives having stabbed Boris and made a hash of replacing him with two failures in succession, sacked Suella - the only one in recent office who had the courage to speak as many people see it - and reinstalled the hapless coward that is Cameron, are now I believe in seriously dire straits with the right leaning electorate - even if they are too far removed from real life to recognise it.
Will this untenable situation result in a shift towards Reform UK, a party that does actually appear to support what vast swathes of the electorate - including those first time Conservatives in the north - voted for the last time?

No doubt some fools will wate their vote but I will still vote Tory even though I don't agree with my MP and the PM is the wrong man for the job. A Labour win will do us a bit of good, we can get shot of Richie Rich and install the Strongest Tory in the Tories, the one with a bit of bottle, SB.
10:44 - No because it's not certain, they are the favourites but often the favourite does not win. The 1000-1 shot in the national never wins, that's reform, green, Lib non dem, SNP etc. Any vote for anything other than Labour/Tory is wasted, except in Scotland. I'll vote tory because as bad as we are Labour will be a lot worse. I hope to keep them out but if I'm honest they are in the best position to actually win a GE since 1973.
RedHelen, it is not my opinion. Many people did agree with her.
Hymie, I don’t know anyone who regrets voting for Brexit - and that includes many dyed in the wool Labour voters. Spin such as you constantly spout has no impact upon that - or them. You make the mistake of taking people who don't share your political leanings for fools - hence your references to them as nutters, idiots, fools or whatever - but in general, they're not. Who's the fool?
Even that idiot Farage accepts that Brexit has been a failure – remember all those lies that we would see the benefits from day one; no mention that the UK government could screw the whole thing up (not that they could have much effect on the disaster that Brexit was always going to be).
I will admit there are still those Brexiteers such as Gove, Johnson, Sunak etc who blindly claim it to be a success – I suspect if you held up a sheet of white paper in front of them, they would be willing to swear it to be black.
probably yes. nobody expects the tories to win the next election so right-wing voters will feel free to make a protest vote. i don't know if it will result in any MPs for Reform... i doubt it but it is not inpossible.
will be interesting to see who farage backs as tory leader after the election. if reform does well then i suspect the next tory leader will be a puppet for nigel farage.

The problem is, Tora, that there are huge numbers of people in the country who love the idea of being coddled from cradle to grave. They expect “the government” to provide for their every need; and when it doesn’t they liked the idea of being able to turn to the EU for succour. These people are becoming more numerous as they have been educated by the Left leaning education industry to expect nothing less. Most teachers and university lecturers view Tories as “scum” (what a delightful term that is).
A greater problem is that many of them are now finding their way into the Tory party and I chuckle when I read that the current administration is “Right Wing”. On another forum yesterday, where SB’s letter was discussed, one correspondent cited the agreement she said she had with Sunak as “disturbing and extremist”. So when somebody thinks that striving to reduce overall legal migration and to issue unequivocal statutory guidance to schools that protects biological sex and safeguards single sex spaces, is “extremist” you know that there is something radically wrong with the way this country is going.
The country will never thrive whilst it follows the current strategy of big government, high taxes and extravagant spending. It needs to cut taxes, promote growth and encourage self sufficiency. That isn’t going to happen under the Tories in their current guise because too many people – even among their own party – see that as “extremist”. Couple this with the influence of advisors and civil servants (aka “The Blob”) and you can see that is never going to happen, whoever occupies the government benches. Meanwhile the country will decline, it will be forced to accommodate the world’s waifs and strays seeking a “better life” and everybody will be all the worse for it. Anybody thinking a Labour government will make any difference to that is deluded.
