Voting &Brexit.
My daughter has dual nationality and has lived here since 2017 - Brit passport, NHs #, pays tax and council tax and all the rest.
she didn't vote in 2019 but has been told that because she was born in the EU, in the neths, she is ineligible and you now have to have been born here, this a result of Brexit. Is this true?
I've also asked my goddaughter who is a lawyer in London and was born in Brussels....
Over to you....

"How should an elector with dual nationality be registered?
Some applicants may have more than one nationality. You should always process an application in accordance with the nationality that provides the higher level of franchise.
For example, an application stating that the applicant is a dual German and British citizen should be registered as a British citizen, as this gives them the wider franchise."
Thanks Chris - it seems that her holding an american passport as well as her UK one is the issue - what I am reading between the lines is make the application, get rejected but they have to give the reasoning and steps to take in re-application. Tedious? Probably yes.
Davebro - read 14.03 more carefully than you did if you read it at all.
