I'm also gay, and a relative of mine is in the BNP. Believe me, he ain't too happy about it...

It isn't fair to tar all BNP members with the same brush, but it's the people who are running the party who are of far more concern than the rank-and-file member. And plenty of the men responsible for managing and running the BNP certainly (though not openly) have very questionable views towards homosexuality.

Every vote for one of them is a vote away from the Tories.

But to answer the question No the BNP don't have a hope in hell of getting an MP

I had a bnp councillor in my area and I found that meetings were not important enough for him to go to. neighbourhood problems naa.. won't bother with them, looks like old fashioned lazyness and bigotry to me.

Much as I detest the Daily Hate, I don't object to its being read. Being a liberal, I - as you yourself endorse - have a firm belief in freedom of opinion. Nobody is trying to close your paper, stop whining.
