When the Speaker calls an MP to ask a question, the PM has obviously had prior notice and reads out his prepared answer. Why do so many MPs stand up wanting to speak when the PMs office must already know who is going to get called?

The Prime Minister's side plants questions and have replies prepared which they want to get over.

The Labour side also second guess, what the Tories or Lib Dems might ask, and prepare answers for those.

Occasionally, Cameron will pitch in with something Brown is not prepared for, but not often, usually they have all the angles covered.

and of course when the speaker is also biased, that helps too!

The Speaker should be impartial, and Martin wasn't. The final straw came when he rounded on Hoey. Even blinkered Labour MPs saw him for what he was.
