Why do people answer questions on here with 'I dont know but' or 'Can't help but' and then give some real irrelevant answer to the question? If you don't have an answer to the question being asked, why would you bother to write anything at all? Just curious.

I'm not sure Flossy - maybe they're just being friendly! ;o}
in chatterbank its okay to be irrelevant
Cb is all about being irrelevant and meandering away from the original subject. It's fun and can lead to all sorts....

Eeugh, pixi. I shall never enter a fish and chips shop again.
You may know me pixi.....
sorry but can't help, but when i got up this morning i putt on my boots and there was a dead mouse in one.
You're so right Flossy, I can't understand why people find it necessary to stray off the topic or give some non-committal answer to a perfectly sensible question. Did you know that my big toe is really painful?
Funny that McM - my piles have been playing up lately. Note to self: incorporate more fibre into one's diet....
They can't help it Flossy, they're addicts.
I had my piles banded salla and it worked a treat. Bit like CB really getting yer piles banned.
I don't know either but I've tried getting tickets for Garth for end of July and the only seats left are way back on the mezeneine thingy so that's not gonna happen i want to be able to touch his boots
It's their ego. They think every question is directed at them and they MUST answer.
Lick them more like, dotty......?!!
''once got a fish from the chippy and it had little worms under the skin''

Mmm... cod worms:

Just to add to your answers, our new neighbours have had their wall cavity insulation done today. It was soooo blinkin' noisy!
Look on the bright side. It may be quieter in the future.
