'people can see him from his garden', he shouldn't have bought the place then.
He's getting even further up himself I'm sure he can see the back of his own eyelids.
My wife used to live in a house where there was a right of way at the end of the garden. Ramblers used to walk down there and then stare through the windows at my wife and family.
It is not something you expect when you move into a house and my wife isn't famous :)
Zeuhl - if someone says that there is a public right of way at the bottom of the garden, that is fine. I expect people to go past, walking, cycling whatever.
I wouldn't expect people to literally come and stand and stare through the windows - in the same way that although I live on a public street, if people came up to the front garden wall and stared through those, I would be a bit perturbed!
