Brown ?! this a person who virtually single handed has led this country (whats left of it) to the brink of financial oblivion and unimaginable levels of debt nearly 3/4 of a trilliion £
whilst chancellor opposed and vetoed nearly all policies that would have controlled and regulated the gambling of the financial sector.
head of the IMF dont make me laugh
mind you look at what job phony blair got, special middle east envoy to broker peace For Funks Sake you cant make this sort of krrapp up if you tried
He's already saved the world once, who could be better qualified to police the gamblers? :)
As for Cameron, not spiteful, just doing what his bosses tell him to.
From past experience he will be channelling most of our money into Africa. Not that this is such a bad thing but why can't we do what the Chinese have done. In exchange for the money let us extract the mineral wealth that lies untouched and is ripe for exploration. He would rather hand it out on a plate and the ungrateful b'stards never appreciate what we are doing for them.
Brown's reputation is that of a wrecker and a financial incompetent.
Head of the IMF needs the acumen of a professor of economics at a ranking university,
not a 'tried but found wanting' politician. They are no good; Blair and Kinnock taught us that politicians generally do not have the calibre for high office, and must be kept well away from any post requiring intelligence and integrity.
I agree Brown is not a suitable candidate but who is?
If I had to choose one person it would be Wolfgang Schäuble the German finance minister. He is a down to earth politician . Although he is not anti EU he recognises its financial and political weaknesses . He hasn't much sympathy for the human rights brigade and the pro-immmigration luvvies. He runs a tight ship and Germany is today the only country without masses of natural resources who is successful .
