Is it time that the press stopped whining about gagging orders?
We all love a bit of gossip, but why is it that certain newspapers (well, mainly the Daily Heil) are getting so worked up over gagging orders?
It is NOT our right to know which footballer is having an affair, or which soap star had an 'away day' in Aiya Napa last month. It seems that certain newspapers are livid, because they're being denied the right to sell more copy.
Is this in the public interest, or is it something that that public is interested in (there's a BIG difference).
Are we a nation gagging to know who is sleeping with whom and when?

ha ha ha ha ha ... !!
237 ... there is one caveat ...
In the morning, when I've not drifted home from some seedy seafront bar, I do, of course, reserve the right to disclaim anything that I've posted on here at this time of night.
It's just a precaution, you undersad, because I can post some real poop at this time of night.

Thanks for the recommendation. I don`t know Brighton very well. Aforementioned cousin lives in Crawley (someone has to) and we are due to meet up so as I thought the weather is good we would go to the coast. I heard there is a nice restaurant called Donatellos. Have you heard of it? I think it will be a case of just mooching around and seeing where we end up
Well, funnily enough, on another thread some time recently, I mentioned Donatellos, because I was in there with a group of friends.
It's pretty good for pizzery, pastery things, and it's in a great spot.
Near to there, the best pubs are The Mesmerist (see above), The Victory, and The Sussex.
Just up the road from The Victory is a choccy place called ChoccyWoccyDooDaah which has been on the telly recently. You should take a look.
Also, just around the corner, is The Seagulls Supporters Shop. They've got all the "League One Champions 2011" kit in now. Just thought I'd mention that.
