Lots of people who camp for events like sales and Wimbledon have a rota, so they can go and wash and have a wee, without losing their places.
He looks and sounds as if he shouldn't have been let out. :-)
My next door neighbour has gone to stay with her sister so that they can camp out. She is 69 and her sister 67, madness if you ask me.
idiot, still i have no interest in the wedding
I have just put a call into the men in white coats to go and round up those people who are already laying claim to a spot to view the royal pantomime.....cos they are obviously a couple of diamonds short of a tiara.
Maybe they are, but theyre harmless. I daresay if all of our lives were microscopoically exmined by the rest of us we'd all be branded nuts by something we do. For example I think anyone owning a Cliff Richard record should be sectioned, but there are bound to be folk who disagree.
I agree NOX!!!! (About Cliff Richard)
As long as they stay far enough from tottenham court road, I'll be happy.

I'm not much interested in the wedding but as long as the people camping aren't doing any harm (and most importantantly aren't in my way) then that's up to them... I think they're nuts but it's not the mad axe murderer kind of nuts... Although that would add an extra element to the day :c)
I can't think of anything worse than queuing for two days out on the streets for anything at all actually. I queued for three hours to see Radiohead and that was quite long enough!
'I queued for three hours to see Radiohead'

^^^ You are so much cooler than me Lofty!

I agree with you.
China, I made up my mind that I had to see Radiohead live. I pushed my way down to the front of the Shepherds Bush Empire and stood right in front of the stage!! That was probably about 5 years ago now, I don't think my arthritic joints could stand it now unfortunately.
One of the charms of the British is we do these eccentric things like camping out for such things. I once queued for two days to bag a highly sought after holiday and can confirm that the camaraderie and buzz was brilliant......the queue was nearly half a mile long and was shown on tv.
