I'm guessing that if you turn up as a pair or more then one stays behind and the rest go off to a local Mcdonalds, hotels etc or similar, that have toilets and sinks to wash in.

I know that some years ago some of the big stations in london had pay to use showers, not sure if thats still the case.

if you are by yourself then i suppose if you get friendly with the people in front of and or behind you, they would be asked to look after your place. whilst one goes off in search of cleaning and food places
I should imagine that if you're the type of person wants to camp out for several days just to get a better vantage point of the Royal Wedding then you're likely to be the kind of person who cares nothing of trivialties like toilet or washing arrangements.
I hope they don't follow the Paris example at the Gare du Nord station. There you had to pay 1 Euro just to have a pee. Shops as mentioned above must be aware of casual visitors to their loos so I don't know how they would prevent it.
Maybe they carry their own jar around with them. White van men who travel around London for their living in their vehicles often carry a jar to releave themselves. You often see them tipping it out of their van window.
I need to 'go' at least hourly, sometimes maybe more often. There is no way I could camp out in the street without a nearby toilet - preferably clean and with ample toilet paper.
They have the William and Kate Colostomy Bag £49.99 from Marks & Spencer

I wonder if people take a william& kate potty with them..I think a jar may be ok for men but theres as many if not more women than men.. and what about no 2s ?
It was on the news this morning hat some lady "needed to go"and asked a copper where the nearest loo was. Apparently he put her in his car ,took her there and brought her back!!
A WC potty, surely ?
Maybe this guy is going.

Shouldn't that PC have lent her his helmet?
sandyroe - only a bloke would say that - our plumbing is a little different.
Girls could use a She-Pee or a She-Wee. I got one for Xmas and quickly offloaded it (unused) onto someone else!
sandy, its only pregnant women who are allowed to wee in a policemans helmet.........true!
the streets are lined with dozens of portaloos, so they'll have no trouble at all.
as the peasents line the streets the royal cavalcade with their millionaires aboard will speed past and the inhabitants of the coaches will wave and smile...and when they go behind the doors to celebrate their lavish lifestyle they will forget all about the peasents that are going to continue struggling to make ends meet and worry about keeping a job and a roof over their heads...and then the next we will see is the queen making her xmas speech telling us what a great year it has been..nothing ever changes....
You still have peasants over there? How quaint.
We call ourselves peasants CowT when refering to the Royalty or those invited ot the wedding!
