Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson charged over Howard Webb 'best man for the job' compliment


Sir Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the Football Association for complimenting - rather than criticising - referee Howard Webb, in the build-up to last Sunday's Premier League title clash between Manchester United and Chelsea at Old Trafford.

disgraceful waste of time. Who the hell is bothered if he gives a glowing report like this to one of his best players?
The Fa have always been bonkers... as are FIFa and all the other governing bodies... makes for a few extra clumn inches though
