Yet more of the world's garbage set to reside in the UK for as long as they wish.

Before we criticise that non popular European Convention on Human Rights, how on earth were they given visas in the first place? It seems that we constantly make a rod for our own backs.

Now both him and his wife can get HIV treatment free of charge from our NHS, so I presume they can get free dentistry also, we hoped that he doesn't get the type of dental treatment that he dished out, or do we?

No.

It's sicking.
It's because we are evil AOG, we must pay for the Empire, all the worlds problems are our fault. Anyway they are really rather nice people, I think you are being judgemental here, I mean haven't we all done a bit of torture in the past?
There is probably a token Guardian reader on AB who will stick up for them, but I hasten to add it is not me
mind you he is living in fishponds, that's punishment of sorts
Why would you think that there may be anyone here who would stick up for this repellant example of a man ?
Bad as he is, he couldn't be as bad as General Pinochet, the torturer and mass murderer, who enjoyed UK hospitality during Thatchers reign.
I'm an occasional Guardian reader and almost certainly what AB's small contigent of fascists would refer to as a "hand wringing liberal" and I have no symapathies for this person.

For petes sake , dont bring Pinochet into this !!

The Thatcher admirers on here will be down on you like a ton of bricks , telling you that - that's all right - because he helped us out in a liitle skirmish down the falklands way , a while back

That is history Sandy, the point here is that this piece of garbage lives here and most likely will always do so.
see what I mean ?
if he's prepared to work as an NHS dentist, I should think he'd be made welcome. (But where on earth do you get free dentistry?)

Quite agree Bertie

But I wonder what the Blair admirers would have to say about this?

they would probably ask you if you're certain your car doesn't run on Libyan petrol. How can you tell?
all of mugabe's henchmen deserve to be lined up against a wall and shot - that's still a million times better and more than they should be entitled to after the atrocities they have committed. they have done unspeakably obscene and gruesome things.

What the H*ll has that got to do with the scheme of things?
If he's guilty of these disgusting crimes, why can't he be tried by an international court and disposed of in an appropriate way?

What an interesting answer jason.

Yes surely he could be extradited from Britain and sent to the Hague for trial?
unlikely to go to trial, more likley he will be interviewed in the hague for evidence about mugabes crimes against humanity.
Where's Lars von Trier when you need him?

.
If he is a war criminal and he certainly appears to be then he should be tried and dealt with appropriately. I have zero sympathy for him. I also read The Guardian.
