I don't mind if this is confined to Brighton, but this is a national sight to behold.

Okay, okay ... I'll take the bait.

But come on, sqad ... that's how people have a good time.

You'd look a total saddo going out on a hen night in sensible shoes and a beige coat.
I'd have thought they would have been right up your street sqad - or in your case villa!!
In any case ...

When did anyone think a hen night was an "innocent rite of passage" ?

Duuuhh !!!

A hen night is when you go out with all your best pals, wear silly clothes, and get absolutely trolleyed.

<<<<that's how people have a good time>>>>

That's how SOME people have a good time........sexual exploitation, binge drinking and sheer exhibitionism.

Then.....on the other hand........some women are campaigning against the re-opening of the "Bunny Club" describing it as sexual exploitation.

Where do women stand on this issue?
"In an instant, they transform Brighton's city centre into an alcohol-fuelled fancy dress party."

And THAT is why this is the best town in Britain.

At this point, I presume the residents of Hove are putting up the 6ft barbed wire fence all along the boundary.
"sexual exploitation, binge drinking and sheer exhibitionism"

sqad ... you use those phrases as though they are bad things.
I don't really have a problem with it Squad if it's all in good fun.
When it degenerates into violence, well that is bad news for everyone.
Question Author
JJ....you are right of course ....imagine "getting trolleyed, sexual exploitation, exhibitionism" EVER being considered as ... inappropriate.

I do indeed rest my case.
The only violence in Brighton is when the oiky day trippers get a bit carried away.

<<<don't really have a problem with it Squad if it's all in good fun.>>>

If they were not fowl mouthed, fat @rsed. overweight, innebriated noisy women with huge t1ts hanging out of their barmaids uniform with grossly fat legs with all to see............I would think it good fun.
sqad ...

The only people who look down on that sort of thing are:

(1) Miserable people.

(2) Daily Mail readers.

(3) People who live in Hove.

(4) Miserable Daily Mail readers who live in Hove.

(5) People who don't live on the coast, and whose lives are therefore not jolly.
<<<<<If they were not fowl mouthed>>>>>

they have beaks as well!!!
rofl at fowl mouthed, is that a play on words considering its hen parties you're discussing?
Question Author
JJ...that is YOUR evaluation......not everybodies.

However there is a bright side to these "hen parties".......you can relax knowing that they are going to marry some other "poor bugger" which isn't your good self.
Ah right, so the dislike is purely due to appearance.

That's not shallow in the slightest.
why should it bother you ..?
you don't live here.
Oh, sqaddy ...

1. You can't belittle women because of their physical attributes. We don't all have perfect bodies. Well, I say "we" ... I obviously DO have a perfect body, but not everyone is so lucky, LOL LOL.

2. Inebriated? But that's the whole point !!

3. Noisy? As we all know ... quiet people are dull, and the louder you are, the more interesting you are.
Question Author
Chuck....read my threads carefully......NOT just appearance.
got to admit i avoid hen parties/stag do's and i used to hate it when they came in the pub when i was working.
