Oh dear, oh dear, perhaps there should be a march for 'DRUNKS' say?
They could carry boards saying 'DRUNK', 'ALCOHOLIC' etc.
They should feel free to drink as much as they like, without some attacking them in the street or calling for a ban on alcohol.
After all is it anybody's business how much they drink?

No my obviously misunderstood analogy, was a way to try and highlight the futility of these type of marches which try and change the public's perceptions on a particular issue, but obviously I failed.

Now that you have entered a perfectly valid argument instead of your recent, 'follow the pack anti AOG Brigade' demands, I will certainly reply to your request.
Yes perhaps I was a little out of order with my "Well I automatically thought that some ABers were intelligent enough to look into the deeper argument" comment.
But this was in fact only to address those regulars, (hence the words 'some ABers') that know perfectly well what I mean, but just like the chance once again to be obnoxious towards me, such as Kromo's rather rude comment "Grow a damn spine and stop whining", there is just no need for such rudeness..
So I say to you Andy, and any others who generally did not understand my point, I am so sorry that I doubted your intelligence, and I take the blame completely, because it is obvious that I failed in getting my point across.
Having said all this please don't expect me to apologise every time someone fails to understand my point, others do not (in fact some never apologise) so why should I?

Excuse me but wasn't the suffragettes marches all about getting the law changed so as to give women the vote?
How on earth are these marchers hoping to get the law changed to somehow alter a perception regarding some women's dress sense?

But.....but......Burkhas are symbolic of 'Mans' (as in male, especially Muslim/foreign male) oppression of women......and women should be free to wear what they want.......except where it tempts men beyond all acceptable limits, so they should 'cover up'..........with a Burkha..........except..........

I am sure you will agree that constantly batting to and fro the finer points of personalities and sniping simply dilutes the thread and distracts from the argument.
I fully understand that your forthright views will by no means be to everyone's taste, and that you will always attract strong and passionate argument, but do you not feel that constantly rising to provocation - which we both know is sometimes deliverate mischief-making - assists people in points scoring, which helps no-one?
I would advocate your recent approach towards myself when you felt i was being part of a concerted effort to upset you - simply ignore such posts. No-one can argue if there is no-one to argue against.
