I feel I must have a little whine, before drinking a 'few' glasses of red wine.
It seems to be that there is a movement afoot to have me sitting at home of an evening with just a small glass of plonk and perhaps consume it by dipping a baby's dummy; instead of enjoying my cigarettes whilst quaffing wine.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I'm a little to young to be commenting on this thread buti,ve been drinking..for over forty years and for the last thirty five i've been drinking over 50 units a weektwenty years ago i'd drink 50 units over the weekend..apart from high blood pressure theres nothing wrong with me..my blood tests are all fine and i recently had a heart check up and thats all fine.. and i've never had a stay in hospital in my life..so this reports a lot of rubbish in my eyes
a few years ago I had a major heart scare.... went down for an emergency angiogram (where they put the dye through the blood vessels in the heart) expecting angioplasty at least bypass at worst heard someone behind me say 'her arteries are perfect' to which the consultant said they can't be... when he came to see me later he said what ever you are doing keep it up... so red wine, chocolate and garlic it is....
