Quite honestly I wish there was someone that would put him permanently out of the system, and all the other killers still lounging in jail, particularly the pair who abused and murdered that poor little boy, shown on the news tonight.
Ahead of this verdict Bellfield was found guilty in 2008 of the murders of Marsha McDonnell and Amelie Delagrange, as well as the attempted murder of Kate Sheedy, and is serving a sentence of life imprisonment with a recommendation that he should never be released.

Miserable bstrd put her family through hell, i hope he never comes out.
Bellfield and his like are what hanging was invented for

Pity we don't have it in this country anymore
It is reported he 'just yawned' when the verdict was read out to him - lets hope he gets his jaw broke, accidentally of course, so he never has this yawning affliction again.

according to the news, the cross examination by Bellfields defence team was so awful, that Mrs Dowler had to be escorted from the court, the man gets a life sentence, and that will be life, but so do the family, what a vile creature.
A vile creature indeed but to blame Bellfield for the way his defence was conducted by barrister Jeffrey Samuels QC is a deflection. If a cross-examination is deemed awful then apportion blame upon the cross-examining barrister and the extreme adversarial procedure allowed by the Court.
Could a judge not ask where a particular line of questioning was leading? It's strange that the family of the victim were subjected to such questions.
No super injunctions for them sandyroe.
we really must look at bringing back the death penalty for such monsters...
Question Author
mrsmaveric i never thought i would hear myself say it, always been against the death penalty, but could make an exception.
what exactly did he do to her without wanting to sound too grim, i dont recall reading this anywhere?
I don't think they ever found out - the body was too decomposed to determine a cause of death, although they thought it was probably suffocation or strangulation. I don't think there was a sexual element to either of the other murders, just a hatred of women.
Question Author
i think that it must have come out in the court, wouldn't be reported, but Mrs Dowler had to be helped out of the court,
No - it said in yesterdays paper that the family were no nearer to finding out how she died.
Question Author
No sure that it isn't for the best, don't know really.
