Perhaps it's because it's happening to a right wing rag - don't know...but I'm really enjoying the fall out from this story. Am I alone in being this utterly childish?

I don't think you're cruel. Like jno I want the truth to come out and for a lot of naming and shaming to happen as it's all pretty hideous and some jail time too if appropriate. I think it's pretty disgusting.

People should stop buying the NOTW, not because of this, but because it's trash. They've always used dubious means to get their stories. There claim to pursue "the truth" is hilarious.
People like trash, though, so will continue to sell.

No - it should all come out. Hopefully the full extent of the revelations will be so disgusting that it will put the paper out of business for good. If we're lucky a few scumbag journalists will serve time in prison as well.

I'd be quite happy if all the tabloids disappeared tomorrow anyway. Why people buy garbage like NOTW is beyond me.

I think there is a degree of shadenfreude being felt by most people as a tabloid gets a dose of its own medicine and is hoist by its own petard (see that mixing of metaphors that they do is catching!).

The tragedy of the circumstances makes their callous treatment of innocent people even more disgusting, and it is only sad that the perpatrators will probably escape justice, once a suitable scapegoat has been selected and sacrificed.

i do not for one moment expact that to be Rebekah Wade - Andy Coulson is far more likely, he is already damaged goods.

Well the big advertisers are dropping like flies now, big one's as well. 02 are apparently thinking of dropping their advertising. And Tommy Sheridan's perjury trial where Andy Coulson gave evidence is being dragged up again. Oh boy, someway to go with this story by miles.
