Rebekah Brookes will she be in a job Monday?
She knows more than she's letting on. With 200 journalists hung out to dry instead of her going from the NOTW, i think her position is untenable. Even if she is farmed off to some other part of News International overseas IE NY or Australia etc, i think that workforces in the organisation would have so little respect for her I don't think anyone could work with her. So i reckon she will be out with a fat golden handshake or long gardening leave by the end of the week. What does anyone else think?
Will be interesting if cameron cuts her loose, they are pals but she is toxic now.

There will be an even greater backlash (if that is possible) now that 200 people have to re-apply for their jobs on the Page3 on Sunday.
I cannot see how she can possibly escape, and the longer. News International have got rid of one toxic embarrassment, but they seem very loyal to another. It will do them more damage than good in the short-term.
I think they will let her go for a short while , but she will pop up somewhere else in News International's empire as soon as Cameron nods through Murdoch getting BskyB.

yes ladybirder, they have refused it now, but they are playing the game, they have to stand by her for now!.........looks them all look innocent!.....wait a couple of weeks and then see!........the stress of it all will be too much for her!.....or that's what they'll put it down to!......It'll happen!..........
Andy Coulsen is likely to feel his collar felt about the Tommy Sheridan trial. Coulsen testified under oath that no police officers had been paid by the NotW. News International have now revealed emails of payments to corrupt police officers from Coulsen, when he was editor of NotW.
Coulsen (Cameron's PR guru) will go to prision for this.

ah, was that what they were after Coulson for? I'm not sure "I screwed up Sheridan's trial" is what he'd want on his gravestone.

Coulson may cut a deal so that the police get a bigger fish, probably Brookes or higher. I agree that Brookes will be in for a few more weeks and then conveniently be let go on health grounds (stress etc) only to resurface in a top job out of the spotlight. Brookes and Murdoch Snr are as thick as thieves.
