NO, apparently he's always like that; takes a while before he answers. If that's what you mean?
the daughter sat right behind him is making a mental note of which committee members are to go on a hit list
I doubt it, the guy didn't get to his lofty heights by being a dimwit.

Anyone else got this on in the background?
No,
Attack the real culprits, how can a person that rules such a vast empire be responsible for each and every wrongdoer in his employment?

He has closed down the offending newspaper and sacked those responsible, plus agreed to pay out compensation, what more can he do?

Or are there other motives at work here? I don't think they will be happy until they see his media empire come crashing down?

But what then, what will then fill the void?
what void ?
Something exciting just happened! Did someone just try and assault Mr. Murdoch?
Yes - Neill called it "an altercation"
By Neill I mean Andrew Neil
From the BBC:

1655: Rupert Murdoch appears to have been attacked by somebody in the public gallery.

1654: The sitting is suspended for 10 minutes - after some kind of disturbance.
1656: Rupert Murdoch's wife Wendi stood up and appeared to strike somebody in defence of her husband.
I have it on,
i can't get the link, as it keeps repeating something, but the info is that someone did, and his wife stood up and defended her husband.
an arrest has been made, whatever he is, he is an elderly person so I personally hope he is alright
BBC's Nick Robinson says that it is a shaving foam attack
What was the point of the attack? What was he hoping to achieve?
