Well the streets of England are being invaded, London, Birmingham, Liverpool, Bristol and Nottingham.

As the pinko-liberals had been warned, but all they did was scoff, even now they are saying that to use force and jailing them would be 'counter productive' whatever that means.

Well now is the time to withdraw out troops from protecting foreign lands and bring them home to protect our land.

Bring on the water cannons and spray these mobs with a un-removable dye, plus the use of tear gas and rubber bullets.

If the prisons are not big enough to incarcerate them then bang them up in a Military Prison

As I said before there's no point bleating to each other here and wondering why there is never no change, you have to get onto the relevant sites and out into the real world to meetings, political debates and talking to mp's. The more people that do the more sway you'll have unless of course you prefer to just be heard by few like minded individuals instead?
doesnt matter how many, hoped that this would have happened by now, to bring back some sanity to the capital, and to Britain.
cripes, is something going on outside ?
It all just sounds like a typical saturday night in StalyVegas.
Doesn't look to good for Manchester tonight then, they must be feeling very left out.

Maybe it would be a change for you to enter a question rather than sitting on the fence nit-pickings others.

Incidentally your best mate Gromit has entered 3 questions on this same subject, but I can't see any similar snide remarks from you.
I see the pinko liberals are only able to joke about it.

Not much of a joke if your business is burnt down is it?
Agree with you 100% AOG
Why, why WHY is there a Met Commander on Radio 4 right now, who when asked about water cannon, baton rounds etc said it would be an absolute tragedy if the Met have to resort to such measures and he believes they can resolve all these issues by doing what they normally do i.e. the routine policing of London?

The tragedy has already happened around him and in his midst over the last three nights!

He needs to wake up and smell what he's shovelling!

Anyone who says we do not have water cannons and we could not afford them anyway, I say this:

"Use the fire services hoses, then they could quench the fires and also get rid of the rioters at the same time".

Now that has got to be cost effective.
well, I only ask questions when I haven't already made up my mind about the answers, aog.
you may have a point there AOG about the fire hoses, I'd not considered that, it would also render all the stolen electrical goods pretty much useless which would be a bonus.

I wonder whether an unusual approach might have an effect. Maybe some of the following radical ideas should be considered:
(a) get a high profile person such as the Queen or Prince Harry, David Beckham, Alan Sugar , Graham Norton, etc to confront a group of people as they raid Dixons etc
(b) get the police dressed in hoodies to infiltrate a group, then once they are inside a shop seal the looters in
(c) set up a sting so when looters break into a shop all the lights come on and there's a film crew and Jeremy Kyle is there to interview them
triggerhippy
i have a chap sat opposite me that lives in Stalyvegas.

Clearly order needs to be restored, all for the water cannon but not rubber bullets, lets not shoot our citizens, that would make it worse.
-----------------------

They wouldn't be 'shot' in the general sense of the word, they'd be incapacitated and prevented from causing further unrest. Let's not shoot our citizens? What 'citizens'? I see a large number of people engaged in arson, looting and mugging in the name of 'social justice', the only citizens I've seen are those who are having their homes and businesses set alight or burgled and having their cars torched.

Setting fire to buildings kills people too, usually in far greater numbers......
"Setting fire to buildings kills people too, usually in far greater numbers....."
<Pinko-liberal>
And you are not, presumably, advocating that, so why would you advocate the other method?
