What do you think of Sally Bercow being a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother? On the one hand, it may seem rebellious if not disrespectful especially as she admits her husband does not approve. On the other hand, she herself is not The Speaker and she is raising lots of money for charity by participating.

she is a self seeking publicist, a nobody who just happens to be married to the Speaker of the House, how times change. Bring back Betty Boothroyd i say, this wouldn't happen in her day. There are other ways you can raise money for charities, you don't have to parade yourself around on reality tv.

I think she is a bit of a slapper, surely for someone whose husband has an important parliamentary position she should show a bit of decorum. Bercow himself is not well likedf either.

There are loads of self publicists,in all walks of life .

Of course Cherie Blair showed loads of decorum over the Carole Caplin affair and her husband had an important parliamentary position . He was the PM !

And various MP's showed heaps of decorum over their expenses .
Former speaker Michael Martin was a real paragon of virtue wasn't he ?
Betty Booothroyd was a former Tiller girl .Tut ..dreadful .
