That's an opinion DS - but the incident involves breaking the law - however stupid you may think the law, and its application in this case is - it's still the law, and everyone is entitlted to its protection, which is not decided on opinions of uninvolved individuals like us, just on the evidence presented.
It's not stupid to be offended when someone has set out to offend you.
Yes it is being racist and provacative, but to be honest the grandmother just needs pitying for her stupid behaviour. I wouldn't complain, I would just laugh and feel sorry for her. Why face the golli looking out the window if it isn't to provoke.
