P.S. just because a politician says he has created democracy does not mean that he has . Journalists are a joke .

Well, democracy of course is not their business. That's up to Libya.
Also, strictly speaking their actions were not exactly "peaceful" though I fully supported them.
So not sure about a Nobel Peace Prize in the short term, but they deserve a lot of credit and I speak as someone who can't stand their domestic policies.

Libya was liberated by its own people with support from NATO (not Britain and France). So No Peace Prizes.
As for creating Democracy there, that is far too premature to say. We do not really know our new friends yet, and there behaviour and actions over the next few months need to closely watched before we can say they are acting democratically. My guess is they won't be.

BP had signed lucrative oil deals with the last Libyan Government. If anything, we had the most to lose by a change of Libyan Government. By making sure we backed the winners early on and visits like yesterdays designed to let them and our competitors know that, our advantage and existing contracts will mean this is good for Britain and the British Economy.
And the whole adventure shouldpay for itself. Iraq was supposed to work this way as well (be a self financing war) but the planning was done by the US, not very well, and it all went terribly wrong in costs and lives.

Well if you're handing out Nobel peace prizes for fighting wars !
perhaps you'd like to start with Blair and Bush for ridding the world of the equally unpleasant Saddam Husein.
Or are you only handing out prizes for fighting popular wars in which no Britons are killed?
If another Dictator seizes control in Lybia will you ask for it back?

If I remember rightly Obama was given one not so long ago. That was not for solving the world's problems but just the expectation he would carry something out. At least Cameron and Sarcozy have put their reputations on the line and nulling Gaddafi's forces.
Obama meanwhile has increased the use of drones, has not solved the Arab/Israeli crisis, has got his troops to invade Pakistan to kill Bin Laden and troops are dying in huge numbers in Pakistan.
