Must admit though there are some 'GREAT' posters, what do others think?

Even Gromit has been included.

I like them all. Positive statements and appealing images.
if we could change the name of the country to "OK but a few things aren't so nice Britain" then a change in the posters may work more to your liking. Doesn't quite have the same ring though!
The one about the countryside being great bugs me - didn't this government want to destroy several forests only recently and had to backtrack because of the hue and cry ?!
No, it didn't.
It was contemplating selling some woodland areas.....and then decided not to.
Yes, backtracked because of the hue and cry ...
The countryside is Great Britain, should have added 'enjoy it while you can'
The pictures are good and I thought whoever thought of the idea is clever but I notice he didn't really mention anything about the economy being great. But then why should he when he is trying to attract tourists in order to make the economy better.
Slightly different from 'destroying several forests'.......no?
No, because that's what they wanted to do ..

I agree sallybb
Is it?

Can you provide a link?
Quite agree AOG - as a Tory, do you think our leader is not being entirely honest with the rest of the world?
I knew you'd ask me that - no I can't, it's just what I read at the time and all the peitions I signed against it, along with many, many others.

Can any of you ABers select a picture off the 'WEB' to add the 'IS/ARE' GREAT BRITAIN tag onto it?
You would have signed a petition against the selling off half the land owned by The Forestry Commission.

Several Governments of (different hues) have also considered this.
Why do people say 'methinks'? It must be centuries old and I don't think anyone is as old as that. Not even me, and I am the oldest inhabitant (female).
Not a bad campaign, but some of the visuals are naff. Could have done better with the olympics one especially.

What a great picture, 'METHINKS' it has given me a thirst.
Trust Branson to get his mug on there. It`s ironic the ad shows an airline that he flogged to the Singaporeans.
O those fish and chips yumyum ! Might just nip to the chippy for my tea now ..
