What will happen to the Anti Capitalism protesters when it comes to the Armistice Day Parade on November 13th?
They say they will stay till Christmas. I wonder if the parade can go ahead now?
Should they be "forced out" now?
if so, how could this be be enforced,
The Bankers don't give a stuff that these people are protesting !, and what have they achieved by it?

What have they achieved? They are achieving what theyt out to achieve namely to keep issues like reform of the banks in the public eye and up the agenda.,
And Frankly when the Chancellor is saying "Yes but in 8 years" I can see why they are protesting!
You've also got Tories on the TV going on about how much regulation is costing the City.
Well excuse me but the cost of not enough regulation seems to have been severl hundred Billion!

It is achieving something
We are talking about it
Whilst we're talking about it there is pressure for reform
Without them the issue would just get brushed under the carpet and forgotten.
Which is what the city fat cats want
They want to be freed from regulation to do what they want regardless of the consequences.
And of course their chums in the media paint the protestors as a bunch of anarchists and hippies that should be ignored or forced out with brute force.
I'm sure many a journalist has had many a comfortable London luch out whilst receiving that "briefing"

The point of any demonstration is to gain public focus, to gain media attention, and to continually reinforce the point. This particular protest has been extremely successful in doing that.
Individual bankers may not give a stuff , but thats not really the point - the point is to galvanise public opinion and perhaps gain some traction with banking reform / tobin tax etc, so the banking institutions will care.
Life is not a video game - just because you do not attain immediate gratification does not mean you just pack up and do something else instad.

You don't like them so force should be used?
I'm sure many men thought the same of suffragettes.
Resorting to force when you can't win the argument is a clear admission of the weakness of your case.
Perhaps you could sling them in gaol until they agree with you and stop behaving disrespectfully to the things that you value.
Would you like a gold plated pistol for Christmas?
