I have the perfect solution to the whole problem.

This oddball mixture of sincere folks, anarchists and nutters with bees in their bonnets and bats in their belfries all want the same thing.

They want publicity.

At the same time, the Big Brother series is rolling on, losing audiences and getting ever sillier.

Solution - Simon Cowell should find a derelict building and convert it into a National Protest Centre.

Every occupant would have an opportunity to speak his piece, and Simon could plant agents provocateurs to stir things up.

If anyone knows Simon, perhaps they would pass the idea on, and make sure i get a commission....

The authorities could go round all of the tents at midnight ..
If none of them are occupied, they should be removed as 'litter' and the owners followed to their 'alternative' home or hotel overnight accommodation by those Council litter wardens and prosecuted.
That will get rid of a few.
