Agree, very sad, that country seems to have suffered enough during the last 12 months.

I have always thought the idea of hanging in a basket with a gas canister firing a jet of flames under a massive balloon just too risky for me.
As you say though a very tragic accident.

I've been ballooning, and it's wonderful (though I've also driven through Carterton, and it's not particularly a town I'd want to see from the air). But a crash like this sounds avoidable, unlike earthquakes, even though it's not yet clear exactly what happened.

I've just seen this on the news, awful, 5 couples and the pilot, 11 families grieving. Tragic!
