My husband keeps asking me where it will be built.Have looked on several sites but unable to find out.Does any one know please?

I think Belfast has the facilities.

john brown and co, scotland built the last one. but they almagamted into upperclyde shipbuilders who have since gone belly up.

most likely a company like nautor will build it, out in scandinavia somewhere.

Why not ask Roman Abramovich to exchange one of his Yachts for a British Passport...He has a bunch of huge Ships....and a British Passport would provide all the security he needs/or might need?

I hope the yacht doesn't sail near Somalian waters. Come to think of it the only safe place is the Northern Hemisphere.

It's just been announced it will be built in China. The Chinese tender came out tops for price and delivery time.

I don't think there is a new one. She's borrowing a beautiful barge for the Jubilee. They had to give us the old one on cost grounds - why would they want a replacement?
