There have been similar comments such as, "it was a power thing, in so much as the FA took the decision to removed Terry from the captaincy without first consulting him", and that "he doesn't understand the seriousness of the charge against Terry", etc.

For my moneyCapello knew, that night in Bloemfontein
,that England, and the players coming up,were never likely to be a match for the Football played by Spain,Italy,Germany,to name a few.
Even the Senior players "threw a sulk,a long sulk",because they were expressly forbidden from visiting Sun City!
Hell,Sol Kerzner, himself, had sent them"Gold-edged Invitations",Birds and Booze would be laid on.They were to be feted as Superstars!
Fabio may not Speaka di Ingles a too good, but he"s sharp in other areas. He would give an initial display of "Resoluteness and Football sagacity" ,and then been seen on a Saturday,in the stands, like ol"Sven did...and well,Bank loads of money..Like Sven did...easy peasy..

"It is not the winning but the taking part and enjoying yourself that counts"
It is about the winning - you ask any sportsman why they do what they do and they will tell you it is to win. Otherwise, what would be the point?
I've played football and rugby for 30 years and I've never, never taken the field and not wanted to win.
Stating its about taking part and not winning is similar to drivers who pass their test at the second attempt telling anybody who will listen that that makes them better drivers.

But no one gives him credit for standing up for his insistence, that a person is innocent until proven guilty.
It is absolutely disgusting that a country which worldwide prides itself in the fairness of it's justice system, and yet it takes a foreigner to recognise the injustice in all of this.
So much that he is prepared to give up the well paid position as the England manager, and to stand up to a regime (the FA), that it steeped in political correctness.
Mr Capello I salute you.

John Terry strikes me as an odious individual and is the product of an odious family, and I didn't think he was the right man for the job when he was first made captain.
However, my thoughts on Terry aside, the fact of the matter is that at this moment in time he is completely innocent of any crime - if he is found guilty, I hope the odious berk is appropriately punished, but for the FA to strip him of his captaincy for something that is not (yet) proven is, simply, wrong.
