Actuallly, under English law, noe-one is a 'potential innocent' - they are only potentially guilty - a small distinction, but the entire edifice of our legal systom pivots on it, so it is important to keep it in mind.

My point Andy is that I'm amazed at the amount of 'innocent' people who kill themselves in prison. It's more a follow-on (and tongue in cheek reference) to a thread we discussed last week.

I obviously see this differently - of the two scenarios - an innocent person who cannot cope with their situation and dies, and a guilty person who is 'cutting to the chase ...' - I find the former fare more likely.

Surely an innocent person would at least put their trust in a jury first Andy?
Perhaps a guilty one may chose the option this one did.
