Tony Blair's youngest kid made the front page of the Times on Friday. Aside from me, anyone else infer the following words?:

Damian, Omen, Chucky, Satan, Poltergeist, Ed Gein...etc.

PS: I'm really not Mr Blair's No.1 fan. And yes, I have met him.

I think youngsters should be kept out of politics and I don't see the point of insulting one.
I'm with netibiza on this. Tony Blair and to an extent Cherie Blair have made the choice to put themselves in the public eye. As such they are legitimate targets for debate / criticism. The children have not. They'll have enough to contend with being known as the Prime Minister's kids without anyone else trying to make it harder for them.
Yes, he's just a little kid and he didn''t ask to be put in the limelight.

my "yes" was in support of netibiza and lillabet's posts.

I'm not a Tony/Cherie Blair fan either, but I think Leo Blair is a handsome little boy.

We have to remember that none of their children ask to be in the public eye & should be left alone.

* I meant you (Andy008) has to remember!

What did you mean by "infer"?  From the text of the article?  Or are you just saying that you think he looks evil?  If so - that's just mean!  The kid's what?  4?  He can't defend himself and like the others said - it's not HIS fault who his Dad is.  I got bullied cos of who my Dad was at the time (not a politician) and it's so frustrating.  Leave the wee mite alone!

PS - I'm just please for Michael Howard's daughter that she looks like her mum!!

So a small boy, aged four, livens up a boring event by pulling faces at the photographers.

Good for him!

going back to a comment said before, im 15 and am very keen in politics, i cant see why i have to be kept out of politics, im a mamber of the labour party and know a lot about politics. i do feel however that Blairs kids, as with any have been born into this wold, they cant help being born in to it. I think that the tabloid taunts about 'the medias kids' is degrading. you wouldnt like it to you own child would you.
i will keep my self as much in politics as i can, i have been working harder through out the electin period, putting fliers through dors, climbing lamp posts etc getting a labour 3rd term than alot of others, if turn out was anythimg to go by, i must be in the top 25% of people that give a serious dam about how the country that i will grow up to controll with the rest of my generation is run at the moment. i will bring my kids up in the same way.
thats my rant for the night done, thanks!

UmBongo - When people said "youngsters should be kept out of politics" we didn't mean that!!!  I suggest people meant that kids (primary school age in particular) should not be USED by politicians and dragged in against their will.

The child in question is FOUR.  You are 15 and clearly mature for that age!  It's GREAT that you are interested in politics - please don't think anyone here was trying to put you off or keep you out.  I'm certain they weren't.

Yes, you can say what you like about Blair, but leave the kid alone, Andy. (In fact, sneers about any four-year-old are pretty unwelcome.) His parents should leave him out of the limelight too - you can bet they'd be protesting if the papers tried running stories about him, so they shouldn't be putting him in the public eye in the first place.
Precisely!
