Why do Labour voters hold the misconceived idea that Labour supports the 'working man', when once they gain power they are up to the same type of tricks as most other parties politicians?

That is not how the Ken and Boris spat played out. Boris was very angry that his tax arrangments were being discussed.
I am not sure anyone has believed Labour supports the working man for a long time. Blair and Brown were very much business focussed. They never repealled any of the previous Conservative Government's Trade Union legislation for instance. The notion that Labour favours the working man disappeared forty years ago. No one believes that today.
Strange how you cannot seem to grasp that Galloway beat a Labour candidate and a muslim one.
