I'm not saying it because she's a fellow Aussie but just wanted to say that we are devasted for her and wish her a full recovery. She copped a lot of flak here years ago but was returning to the biggest and most triumphant sold out concert tour ever and I can only send positive thoughts.
I like Kylie. I'm not a great fan of her music, but I really think she shines as an artist, is very talented, and is well loved over here in the UK. I was very sad to read the news and join you graemer in sending her positive thoughts. She's very strong and fit and stands an excellent chance of a full recovery.
I'm sending positive thoughts too. A lot of people my generation have grown up with her from being Charlene the mechanic to world-wide superstar. XXXXXXXXXX
strangely enough she has donated thousands to breast cancer research including one of her "love kylie" bras she wore and donated to an auction that raised 28,000 for breast cancer research.
I hope that kindness pays off and she recovers quickly
I love Kylie and having been to see her live a few years ago, can confirm that she kicks butt. Fantastic show. She's only a little older than me, and I've grown up watching her. Having just been through a similar but less serious scare (my lump is almost certainly just a post baby oddity), my heart goes out to her. Sending positive thoughts, strength and best wishes.
I was very upset to hear the news. It is her birthday on Sat (28th - same day as mine) and I can't think of anything worse than getting such news on what should be a happy time. I understand that it has been caught early on, and I wish her all the best - get well soon Kylie!
Plainjane, your answer is a really lovely one. I cannot stand hearing Kylie singing, but like all other folk affected by this disease, in whatever stages they are trying to improve from, let's all wish each other the very best. Kylie is very kind to have donated lots of her money to research, perhaps all her fans will want to make a donation of some kind now.
Yes it's terrible news & wish her & all cancer sufferers all the best for a speedy recovery. (If my oldest son's dreams had come true she would probably be my daughter-in-law!)
Kylie is one of the few celebrities that everyone seems to like - regardless of their age, gender, race, sexual orientation, musical taste or anything else, and she never seems to swan around with a huge ego or take her fans for granted.
Best wishes to her and I hope she makes a full and speedy recovery.
I too wish her a speedy recovery and hopefully she will make a full recovery like many others. However, there are over 40,000 others in the UK alone that are diagnosed with this every year who, dare i say it, are not in the same financial position as Kylie. It is a shame yes, but im sure she will get the very best treatment.
Having lost several family members to cancer in recent years I know how devastating the effects can be.
I want to send all my love, best wishes and positive vibes to Kylie in that such a talented young woman and fabulous person can fight this and recover quickly. GOOD LUCK KYLIE - YOU CAN DO IT GIRL!!
