What should be done about the influx of coachloads of Romanian pickpockets and prostitutes which are arriving in the capital every day?

For those who say life in our capital is no different now to what it was in the 50s, must be under a false impression, because we are moving very quickly towards being a third world country.

Em10 I've been homeless and stayed at some of the worst hostels you can imagine, I'm one of those that fell through the cracks but it was mainly because of my lifechoices.
I stayed on the streets for 5 years not because I couldn't get out but because it was easy, no responsibilities, easy money, some days I could make £500, but eventually I slipped down a long slide of alcohol and drugs and was eventually rescued by st mungo's, had someone been tougher with me or had the streets been so dangerous then I doubt I would've stayed, this is what I mean.

fair enough, i was thinking of St Mungo's and any number of other places i know here. I never forget that it can be anyone of us, it only takes a moment for the whole pack of cards to come tumbling down, marriage break up, loss of job, debt, and there you are, possibly out on the street.
If these Romanian people are doing this, then should by all right be deported.

Not having slept rough on London's streets or any other place for that matter, I was only quoting on what the Daily Mail reported that particular homeless man had said.

Why yes, what a good idea, why don't the authorities employ heavies to beat up these British homeless individuals and rob them of their money, drugs and alcohol?

That would certainly solve a few problems and at the same time one could donate the said confiscated items to the Romanian homeless.
