Capo Verde - on the island of Santo Antoo, just got a postcard from there this morning. It looks fantastic. The traveller said it is very primitive with lots of fish, fish and more fish to eat! Great place for trekking. Hope that helps.

Sorry I should have said that Santo Antoo is one of the islands in the Cape Verde.

Beware. a very close friend of mine went to Cape Verdi in January. The hotel was first class. The medical facilities were a disgrace . consequently he lost his wife

We are looking at the Cape Verde Islands. Were going to go in July but may now defer until September when the kids are back at school.
