Her Majesty, the Royal family, a magnificent flypast, all the crowds waving didn't it all go so well. I must admit to a few tears. Have you been watching.
Couldn't get down there today, so this has to be the next best thing

That's a thought pdq, haven't seen any politicians over the past few days. Maybe they are actually running the country for once instead of thinking of how to accidentally mislead the electorate.
(Don't ask what colour the sky is on my planet, I'm just a deluded optimist)

alba, DC was at the concert, and at the celebrations today, not completely ignoring the matters of state i guess, all part and parcel of the job.
The next big thing is the Olympics, that is going to be loads of bodies here too, not suyre i am looking forward to it so much, will have to see.
I have to admit to a tear or two today as well. I felt sorry for her maj without Phil and thought at times she looked a bit tired and unsteady on her feet, bless her.

who wouldn't look tired, 86 years old, and having to attend a 4 day event, it would knacker most people.
I wasn't criticising em, just being sympathetic! I think she's marvellous for her age.

it's now tipping down, at least it more or less held off till the family got inside the palace.

i havent watched any of it except 2 mins this morning..... but ive seen tons of posts all over the internet about how much people have enjoyed it so thats really nice :)
