Bernie Ecclestone has offered to pay more than £35m to stage a grand prix in London. It is estimated that up to 100m could be generated from it giving the UK and London a boost.
Good idea ? Or will the 'greens' and 'right-on' brigade kick off along with a cavalcade of other nutters?
I thought you had to pay Ecclestone to get a race staged not the other way round? I remember when the Tour de France came to London, Ken said it had cost £2m to get it there whereas a grand prix would have cost over £20m.
I'd still love to see it though!
It's been a while since I was down in London but I seem to remember the streets being paved with potholes.
Has there been a major improvement that will allow vehicles with a 5mm ground clearance to perform as designed?
This is all a big cover-up as he has just been caught paying a banker £28 million to "keep calm". This is hush money to appease the UK government and keep the tax inspector off his back. There is a good article about all his shenanigans here: http://www.monacogran...-jailed-for-f1-bribes
