A fitting sentence for this monster of a mother.

I bet she wouldn't have been given a sentence of that length of time if she had been tried in a British court.

What's the betting they will try to get her to serve her sentence in a British jail?

i think she will be returned to Britain, and there will be a review, as i can't see her staying in Spain. I am glad she has received a long custodial sentence, despicable crime.
Good enough for her, I hope she stays in a Spanish prison.
There would be no reason for her to be brought back to the UK to serve her sentence. It isn't as if she has family here who would want to visit her. Her two older children have had nothing to do with her for several years.
The crime was committed in Spain so they can keep her there.
i still think that she will be returned to Britain to serve her term here.
I think she will try to have her sentenced transferred to Britain - but - she has condoned what her boyfriend did to her eldest daughter by living with him in Spain so I do not think she will be successful.
she committed the crime in spain so she will serve the sentence there.

just sad its not a mandatory life sentence like in this country.
You'd lose your bet ,aog. The minimum sentence before being eligible for release when the murder is of two or more persons is 30 years. It may also be that the Spanish sentence of 15 years consecutive on each count has early release for good behaviour; ours is the minimum term.

You know what? That thing you wrote about us not having mandatory life sentences isn't quite true.

We actually DO have prisoners (Charles Mandon, Ian Brady to name a couple) who will die in custody.

Not sure if it's on Channel 4 On Demand or BBC iPlayer, but there's a fascinating documentary series on at the moment called 'Lifers' which goes a long way to countering the idea that life never means 'whole of life' in the UK.

Word of warning - it's a pretty grim programme.
serves her right, evil cow. i hope she rots and is in a bare solitary cell with nothing to do except think about her actions and gets a regular beating when she is with others. but....i doubt that very much. she should not be transferred to britain until her sentence is complete.
Best sentence for her would have been for someone to hold a pillow over her face until she drew her last

Poor innocent kids never stood a chance with a monster for a mother
sp1814....I watched "Lifers" and I found it fascinating. It's on 4OD.

With regards to this "mother" (if I can call her that), she should serve her sentence in Spain. That's where she committed the crime. Evil woman.
